For the good times..."For the good times"(為了美好時光)是美國鄉村音樂歌手，作曲家，音樂家和電影演員 - Kris Kristofferson (1936年生)在1968年填詞、譜曲，並收錄在1969年專輯「Kristofferson」裡，卻未引起特別注意。然而此曲在1970(隔年)年，由美國另一鄉村音樂歌手- Ray Price (1926- 2013年) 翻唱，卻一舉拿下鄉村榜9週冠軍，並獲得美國鄉村音樂學院選為年度最佳歌曲。爾後更有許多大排翻唱歌頌，包括貓王Elvis Presley、 Andy Williams 、Perry Como、Dolly Parton等及加拿大女歌手Anne Murray…
